Purslane

Purslane is a low growing succulent-type plant that thrives in the summer heat. They have showy flowers in red, pink, orange and yellow. Purslane displays beautifully in containers or could be used as a ground cover. They thrive in full sun to soak up the heat and like to dry between waterings. For best results, make sure to plant them in lots of sun and in a well-draining soil mix. They can be fertilized with Dynamite Flower and Vegetable slow-release fertilizer when needed.
