Euryops are vibrant yellow with a flower that resembles the classic daisy. They are also known as Bush Daisy. They prefer 4-6+ hours of direct sunlight. They bloom throughout the year and love our warm temperatures. Euryops can reach 3-4ft in height. As they grow, they form a nicely rounded bush that looks great as a border or makes a lovely container plant. You can cut back your plant before the spring growing season and again in the summer. Using the Sure-Gro 6-8-10 fertilizer is great when planting in the ground and helps promote more blooms on your plant.  When planting your Euryops, keep about 18-24 inches between the plants. Bush Daisy’s reseeds itself and will fill in an area easily on its own. They are a Florida-friendly plant according to IFAS and are a great plant to add color to your landscape.

Fun Fact!

Bush Daisy are part of the Asteraceae family, which is the same family as sunflower and chrysanthemums. They closely resemble mums with their petals and flowers. They are also known to be a pollinator attractor for butterflies and bees.
