Spathiphyllum
not valid on prior purchases • cash & carry
Peace lilies are a popular house plant since they can be easy to care for and give off simple beauty. They have large, dark green, lush leaves. When getting enough light, they will produce a white spathe flower that is a symbol of purity. Peace lilies are an aroid and prefer a good soil mix with components like perlite or lecca. Peace lilies are known to be dramatic if they get too dry and will wilt to an extreme. Don’t worry! Just soak your plant and it’s likely to quickly pop back up! When you fertilize, use slow-release Dynamite All-Purpose, it gives your plant the nutrients it needs while also saving you time by not having to apply frequently.
Fun Fact!
According to the NASA Clean Air Study, peace lilies are one of the best plants for cleaning and purifying the air. Their flower is also not a true flower, but a modified leaf, or spathe, that surrounds the much smaller flowers inside. This is like bougainvillea and poinsettia blooms.
