not valid on prior purchases • cash & carry
The “Florida Sun Hosta” resemble the classic up north landscape hostas, but was curated to do well in subtropical regions. Although they do seem similar to northern hostas, they require different conditions and care. Unlike up north hostas, the Florida Sun hostas dont go dormant and want to be in 4+ hours of direct sun. This medium sized plant get about 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Florida Sun hostas not only prefer full sun but also thrive in high humidity and heat conditions. Typically, in the month of August, they will produce blooms with light lavender tubular flowers. Their variegated foliage and wavy leaf shape gives a unique and lush look to your yard. Once established, sun hostas are drought tolerant and are an easy maintenance option for the landscape. Fertilize with the Dynamite All-Purpose granular.
Fun Fact!
With over 3,000 different varieties of Hostas, sunhostas are the only ones curated to take full sun and take our high heat and humidity we have here in SWFL.
